Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
- Meet workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate effectively with service advisors and workshop controllers regarding repair work and timelines.
Candidate Requirements
- IMI Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications in Vehicle Inspection or Automotive Engineering are accepted.
- Prior experience in main dealer or professional workshop settings.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Full UK driving licence or eligibility to obtain one.
- MOT tester certification or hybrid/EV qualifications are a plus.
