Position: Global Digital Communications Lead

In this influential role, you will oversee and enhance VisionSpring’s global digital platforms. By leading initiatives across our website, social media, and email communications, you will help engage international audiences and extend the organization’s reach. Your blend of creativity, analysis, and strategic execution will play a key role in driving measurable impact.

The position reports directly to the Global Senior Manager of Communications and involves close collaboration with teams across multiple countries, including Bangladesh, Ghana, India, and Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of VisionSpring’s digital channels, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong brand presence worldwide.

Social Media Leadership: Plan and implement an engaging content calendar across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. This includes content creation, community engagement, and managing paid advertising initiatives.
Website Management: Regularly update and refine website content while improving usability and performance through data-informed decisions.
Email Communications: Design and manage segmented email campaigns for internal and external audiences, supporting donor engagement and sharing impactful stories.
Performance Monitoring: Measure and evaluate digital performance using key metrics, prepare monthly reports, identify trends, and adjust strategies to improve results.
Content Distribution: Collect compelling stories from global teams and adapt them into various digital formats, ensuring alignment with VisionSpring’s mission and brand guidelines.

Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate has five to seven years of experience in digital communications and holds a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Proven expertise in managing social media and email marketing campaigns is essential.
Strong writing and editing skills with a clear ability to communicate brand narratives effectively are required.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, content management systems, and Canva is expected.
You should be comfortable using data to inform strategy and decision-making.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities are critical.
A genuine interest in social enterprise or international development is highly valued.
The role requires the ability to work effectively with multicultural teams across different time zones.
Applicants must have legal authorization to work in either Ghana or Nigeria.
