The Role

Nestlé Ghana is currently recruiting a highly organized and analytical Payment Analyst to support international vendor payment operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that payments to overseas suppliers are processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position is well suited for a finance professional with experience in foreign trade and cross-border transactions who values precision and collaboration.

Role Overview

In this position, you will oversee the documentation and processing of payments to foreign vendors from start to finish. Your responsibilities will help ensure regulatory compliance, minimize payment delays, and support smooth coordination between procurement, logistics, and finance teams. You will contribute directly to operational efficiency and strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify that all documentation related to international vendor payments is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Monitor documentation workflows to avoid delays and ensure approvals are obtained promptly.
  • Support adherence to government regulations governing international trade and foreign payments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in payment processing and document management.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards that track payment timelines, compliance status, and process performance for management review.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in foreign trade, international payments, or a related finance function.
  • Professional or native-level proficiency in French is mandatory.
  • Strong foundation in banking and finance, with excellent analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A practical, data-driven mindset with a willingness to suggest and implement process improvements.
