Role: Senior Copywriter

Publicis Groupe is looking to hire an experienced and imaginative Senior Copywriter to become part of its forward-thinking creative team. This opportunity is ideal for a strategic storyteller with a sharp creative instinct and the ability to turn complex ideas into engaging, impactful messages. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary creative teams to produce bold campaigns that connect with audiences and strengthen brand identity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and consistently delivers original, high-quality copy across multiple projects.

Core Responsibilities

Creative Leadership: Collaborate with art directors, designers, and strategists to shape and develop core ideas for integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and broadcast channels.
High-Quality Content Development: Produce clear, persuasive, and original copy for websites, advertisements, social media, email marketing, and audiovisual scripts, ensuring alignment with each client’s brand tone and objectives.
Client Interaction: Present creative ideas confidently to clients and incorporate feedback thoughtfully while maintaining the integrity of the creative direction.
Team Development: Support and mentor junior copywriters by offering constructive guidance and fostering a collaborative and productive creative environment.
Research-Driven Creativity: Monitor market trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to inform and enhance creative outputs.
Brand Consistency: Safeguard brand voice and messaging consistency across all deliverables, ensuring excellence and coherence at every touchpoint.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess a relevant tertiary qualification and have a minimum of five years’ experience in a creative agency or comparable environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of work across different media platforms and industries is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, brand positioning, and consumer behavior.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail are required.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality is critical.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills are necessary.
Experience in digital content strategy and familiarity with current industry best practices are expected.
Hands-on experience writing scripts for video, radio, and digital platforms is required.
A proactive and collaborative approach to brainstorming in fast-paced creative sessions is important.
Proficiency in French is considered an added advantage.
