The Role

We are currently inviting applications from committed and adaptable educators to fill the position of Classroom Facilitator at the Basic School level. This role suits a passionate professional who values learner-centered teaching and demonstrates excellent classroom leadership. The successful candidate will create a welcoming, well-structured, and stimulating classroom that supports effective learning and positive behavior.

Position Summary

As a Classroom Facilitator, you will play an active role in guiding learners rather than relying solely on traditional teaching methods. You will develop engaging lessons, manage classroom interactions effectively, and tailor instruction to accommodate individual learning needs. Creating a supportive, organized, and motivating learning space will be central to promoting both academic achievement and personal development.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative, learner-focused lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic guidelines.
• Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain order, respect, and learner engagement.
• Facilitate group and individual learning activities that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and independence.
• Monitor and evaluate learner progress through ongoing assessment and provide constructive, personalized feedback.
• Communicate regularly and positively with parents or guardians regarding learners’ academic progress and overall welfare.
• Participate actively in school programs, extracurricular activities, and continuous professional development opportunities.
• Model the school’s core values and uphold disciplinary standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal applicant should demonstrate the following qualities and experience:

• Relevant teaching or facilitation experience at the Basic School level.
• Strong knowledge of child-centered instructional approaches and differentiated learning strategies.
• Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while maintaining a supportive and caring atmosphere.
• A genuine passion for teaching, combined with patience, creativity, and commitment to child growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possession of a recognized teaching qualification or professional certification is an added advantage.
