Role Summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and performance-driven Marketing Officer to strengthen our marketing and client engagement efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing marketing activities that position the centre as a top choice for events and retreats. This role focuses on increasing brand visibility, attracting new clients, and nurturing long-term business relationships across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
As Marketing Officer, you will play a central role in expanding the centre’s reach and client base. Your duties will include:
- Designing and executing effective marketing plans that promote the centre’s facilities and services.
- Actively promoting the venue to target markets such as corporate organizations, educational institutions, faith-based groups, NGOs, and other associations.
- Managing branding initiatives, advertising activities, and the development of engaging promotional content.
- Coordinating digital marketing activities, including social media platforms, content publishing, and online business listings.
- Planning and facilitating promotional activities such as open house events, familiarization tours, and corporate site visits.
- Conducting market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends within the events and hospitality industry.
- Maintaining accurate client records, responding to enquiries, and supporting the booking and follow-up process.
- Preparing marketing performance reports and working closely with the operations team to ensure client satisfaction and repeat patronage.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales, or business development, ideally within hospitality, events, or service-based organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- A self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and achieve set objectives.
- Creative thinking, strategic planning skills, and a strong customer-oriented approach.
