Role Overview

SOLEVO Ghana is currently looking to recruit a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Executive to strengthen its Home & Personal Care (HPC) Chemicals team in Tema. This position suits professionals with hands-on experience in HPC ingredients who are passionate about consultative, value-driven sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling a diverse portfolio of HPC chemical products to businesses involved in home care, laundry, hair care, and personal care manufacturing.

What the Role Involves

As part of SOLEVO’s Chemical division, you will contribute directly to business growth by expanding the company’s footprint within the HPC market. Your focus will be on building and sustaining a strong customer base, aligning all activities with SOLEVO’s commercial goals through technical insight and relationship management.

Core Responsibilities

This role combines technical knowledge with commercial execution and strategic thinking:

  • Customer Development: Maintain relationships with existing clients while actively onboarding new customers. Conduct a minimum of two prospect or client visits per day and provide comprehensive weekly CRM activity reports.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor movements, translating insights into practical business growth recommendations.
  • Commercial Operations: Prepare pricing proposals and contracts based on customer demand forecasts, ensuring margin protection and compliance with internal performance standards.
  • Product & Competitive Intelligence: Identify and recommend high-value products to strengthen market positioning, while maintaining up-to-date SWOT analyses on competitors.
  • Financial Support: Collaborate with the finance team by following up on customer payments and supporting efficient cash collection processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Technical Sales or Quality Control, ideally within the Home & Personal Care, Food, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, negotiate commercial terms, and foster long-term business relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with a customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to perform well in a fast-moving work environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

  • Prior exposure to sales prospecting and internal commercial processes.
